The stars started to arrive around 6:30pm with Adam Rodriguez (you might know him from CSI Miami) getting out of his vehicle halfway down the street and starting to sign for the fans. Although he signed for quite a while, he did not make it all the way down to my area. I was waiting a little off from where drop offs would be. Next to get out was Betsy Brandt from Breaking Bad. I did need her on a photo I had (start a cast shot) and ended up getting both her and Adam at the after party. Matt Bomer came next and the crowd went crazy. You might know him as the lead character in White Collar on the USA network. He is very popular with the ladies in the crowd and did not disappoint. My hat (if I was wearing one) goes off to Matt. He signed for a good 15 min or so. One of the best I've seen this year. He left shortly after the movie started to catch a plane back to NY, but not before I got him on a 11x14 (I also managed to talk another friend of mine out of one for trade :). Thanks Matt!
While Matt was signing, Channing Tatum came over and of course, I missed him. He came right to where I was standing before I jumped (moved around) to get Matt Bomer, but my friend got him on a 12x18 of The Vow for me, so I was good. I did try to get Channing all the way down the line, and he kept shoving the pictures back until finally he said "You guys aren't going to get anything...these are the true fans right here". He was referring to the girls who only wanted pictures with or paper signed. I had heard he was such a nice guy, but today that was clearly not the case. I will hold my complete judgement until I meet him a couple more times. Got to give the boy the benefit of the doubt :)
While Channing was signing, Joe Manganiello signed a few as well, and I missed getting him. Shortly after, Matthew McConaughey started signing for a small section and I was able to get my Killer Joe (a new movie of his coming out) signed after much pleading. I kept asking him to sign it, and he wasn't getting to it, so I finally yelled out "Matthew...it's a Killer Joe picture"...and he said "Oh, well I have to sign it then". That's what did it. Thanks so much Matthew! I have been told he is one of the hardest graphs to get so I am thankful I got one.
Alex Pettyfer came next and was very nice. I wasn't able to get to him since I was chasing Matthew down, but was able to get him on a couple of cast shots at the after party. I wasn't able to get my I Am Number Four pictures out in time, and ended up getting him on Magic Mike cast photos. Thanks Alex!
Olivia Munn was the last to arrive, and since she was late; went right to the red carpet and in the door. I was able to get her at the after party on one 11x14 playboy image. Thanks Olivia!
Well...other than a few people in smaller roles from the film that I put on my cast photo, that was pretty much a night. I was only out until 1:30am. Not bad. LOL. Now to get some rest for the Savages premiere in Westwood tomorrow. Wish me luck!
