FX Night Of Comedy party for Wilfred and Anger Management! Russell Brand, Elijah Wood, Jason Gann and more!

Today has been a busy day. I did SOA this morning, went to Katy Perry premiere for 3 hours and got nothing; then headed to this party. I just missed a few arrivals, but nobody I really needed or had photos for; so no big deal. The main people I wanted to get were Russell Brand, Charlie Sheen and Elijah Wood. Let's see how I did :)

Once I arrived, people were starting to come over and sign. Now whenever I have a chance to get a graph and don't really have anything for that person, I put them on an index card cause you never know who will turn out to be a huge star in the future. My first index card victim of the night, and there were plenty; was Dereck Richardson, who is on the new show Anger Management.

Now let me tell you my Russell Brand screw up. I am a HUGE fan of Forgetting Sarah Marshall and had like 4 photos for Russell to sign tonight. Low and behold, I left them in the car. Go figure. I was pissed since my car was about a 20 min walk away and Russell did the red carpet and then left. I managed to call him over and get him on 2 index cards. The other graphers were telling me not to call him cause Elijah Wood was pulling up, but I needed him and managed to get them both. Thanks Russell. Next time I will bring my photos.

As I said above, right as Russell was signing for me; Elijah Wood came over. I was very lucky to get him on my Wilfred 12x18 cast shot and then jumped to the end and got him on my LOR 11x14. This added to my already great day! Thanks Elijah!

 I got Elijah on this first, then Jason Gann signed it after the party and put his graph right above Elijah's. It was dark, so I forgive you Jason. :)

 

I did manage to get a photo op a couple index cards signed for me and my best friend by W. Kamau Bell, who will be on a new talk show produced by Chris Rock on FX.

I missed Selma Blair going in, but managed to get her on a couple 8x10 photos when she was leaving. Thanks Selma! Loved you in Cruel Intentions.

Charlie Sheen was the last to arrive. Only 3 hours late Charlie. He, of course, did not sign. When he came over to us, he must of thought we were pap cause he said "Only Photos Guys". Very strange. When he left, he zipped off without even thinking of signing.

I managed to get a few more index cards, but still have to figure out who they were of. :)
