Sons Of Anarchy again! Charlie, Tommy and more!

While I was in LA for the Total Recall premiere, Shawn and I decided to stay another day since we heard that SOA, one of mine as well as his favorite shows, was going to be filming about 30 minutes away. We printed a few photos and set out on a new adventure.

Our plan was to go to the SOA set and then make it in time for arrivals at The Campaign premiere. That did not happen. We arrived at the base camp location a little after 2pm and just missed them. They headed over to the filming location, which was a motel near bye, so we drove over there to see if there was any way to get them on breaks. It was impossible. The security on SOA is not nice at all...well let me say there are a few nice guys...just not the head guy. If he has seen you before then he automatically thinks you are selling and calls the cops. Go figure. What business is it of his what someone does with their items once they get them signed. As long as the celebs don't mind signing, then you should mind your own business. With that being said, we had to head back to base camp and wait for them to come back for lunch.

About 6:30pm, the crew and some of the cast arrived back at camp. Shawn and I were the only ones there so we called out for the cast members to come over and sign, most of which gave us the "One Minute" sign. It was a lot more than one min, but upon leaving; we were able to get Charlie Hunnam, Tommy Flannigan, Mark Boone Jr, Kim Coates, Dayton Callie (Chief Unser) and Jimmy Smits. You read right...Jimmy Smits is in the new season of Sons! Katey Sagal was on set, but did not sign before heading back over to set. She did wave though. Thanks Katey! We waited until about 10:30pm and then had to head back to AZ. I will have to get her next time! Can't wait for the premiere!

Here is what I got today:

 Base Camp
 Car used during filming
The talented Jimmy Smits. Huge fan of NYPD Blue, LA Law and of course, Dexter!
12x18 signed by Charlie, Tommy, Kim, Boone, Dayton and Jimmy.
11x14 signed by Charlie. Now I just need Katey to complete it.
11x14 signed by Charlie, Tommy, Kim, Boone, Dayton and Jimmy.
A season 1 pilot script signed by Charlie, Tommy, Kim, Boone and Dayton.

These guys loved the script. Charlie was reading pages from it and telling Tommy how he used to be called Dublin on the show. It was great. I haven't seen one of these signed yet. I think I have an original here :)

Also, I haven't seen anything with Jimmy on it yet. Might be a first there as well. These guys are so great. I know they get bombarded everywhere they go, but to take time to sign for someone who drives 7 hours to see them is very nice. Thanks guys! See ya soon!

Total Recall Premiere with Kate, Colin, Jessica and More!

Well folks...another trip to LA for the Total Recall premiere. I expected this to be HUGE so I printed a ton of stuff and had high hopes I could get most of it signed. I left AZ with my friend Shawn at about 6 am and arrived at the premiere around 1 pm or so (darn LA traffic). It was already very crowded but thankfully my friend Angel held us a spot. Thanks Angel! We were prob about 20 people down from the drop off point, which in this case worked out well. I had my friend helping me on the opposite side, so my bases were covered. Here is how it went down:

Arrivals started about 6:30 pm with Bokeem Woodbine being the first celeb to arrive and cross for us. He came right to my area since I was yelling the loudest and caught his eye. He was nice enough to 3 index cards for me (with the help of Tyler), but I did not get the photo with. I wanted him on my cast photo, but that was with my friend on the other side. :(

Next to arrive and cross was John Cho. You might remember him from Harold and Kumar or Star Trek. He was nice enough to take a photo with me and sign my Star Trek 11x14 photo. I later got him on my cast shot leaving the premiere. Thanks John!

Colin Farrell was next. With the fans screaming so loud for him, he had to cross and sign. I have to say I have not heard the best things about Colin and I know many friends in LA would agree, seeing as how he skipped the section of what he thought to be dealers completely (see picture below); but he did come and sign for my section and I was able to get 2 11x14's done after being initially skipped (he must have thought I was a dealer as well). It took a lot of work, and I was called out by security (which were not very nice), but I did get these done.

Now I only have to get Edward Norton on this. Wish me luck!
Next to arrive was Jessica Biel. She went to the opposite side of where I was at and did not sign for very long so I was not able to get her on the photo's that I had. My only hope was that Brenda came through for me on the other side.

While Jessica was signing, Bryan Cranston (you might know him as Walter White from BB) started signing as well. I was lucky enough to get him on a couple pics at the Rock Of Ages premiere and brought all the photos that Aaron Paul had already signed to try and get them done. To my dismay, Bryan would only sign 1 each and signed for both Tyler and I. Thanks T! Now I have 2 completed shots...only 7 more to go. LOL.

While Bryan was signing, one of my favorite actresses arrived and started signing, I gave up on trying to jump (moving around) to get more from Bryan and went back to my spot to wait for Kate.
When she finally got close to me, I asked for a picture and her husband said No Pictures Today guys. Sorry. Huge disappointment as I really wanted a photo with her. Oh well...maybe next time.
He also said only 1 graph per person, so after she signed a sexy shot for me, I asked her if she could sign the Pearl Harbor shot that Ben had already signed...and she did! Tyler also helped me get one so that makes 3 on arrivals. Thanks so much Kate!

That was it for arrivals...now to wait for departures and the after party.

Upon leaving the premiere, I was able to get a few photos with people and a couple of autographs on index cards. Here is what I got:

 Joey Lawrence
 Spawn himself...Michael Jai White.

Craig Robinson from Knocked Up and The Office.

From the HBO show Luck...Jason Gedrick.
Michael Ealy was nice enough to sign my Takers photo as well as this photo with.

The after party was close by and a lot of people walked, which is how I got the pictures above. Unfortunately, Colin, Bryan and Kate all got driven over. Jessica left premiere early to catch a flight back to NYC so I missed her. I was able to get Kate going into the after party and coming out as well on 6 more photos. Thanks again Kate! You're the best!

And I almost forgot to tell you that Brenda did come through for me...she got Jessica and Bryan on this TR cast photo, which I later added Kate and John Cho to as well. She also got Kate and Jessica on this 11x14 Maxim cover photo. Thanks Brenda!

To support his friend and cast mate on Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul showed up and I was able to get him on couple photos and index cards. He also took another photo with me. Thanks Aaron!

Hope you guys enjoyed this one. A lot of work and effort, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. Catch you on the next one!

Castle Cast, Jeremy Renner and Aaron Paul! Photo's and More!

My son and I decided at the last minute to make a trip to LA to try for Aaron Paul  from Breaking Bad and Jeremy Renner. Since Breaking Bad is one of Jordon's favorite shows (and mine too by the way), we decided it would be worth a day trip to LA to try for these guys. Now, those of you that know me are aware that I have a few favorite tv shows...in no particular order:

Sons Of Anarchy
Breaking Bad
Castle
True Blood
Dexter

I would probably have to add Revenge to my list now, as well as Newsroom. If you haven't seen Newsroom on HBO, it is amazing! You really have to pay attention to keep up, but well worth the concentration. LOL.

The reason why I mentioned my fav shows is because the morning we were leaving on our journey, I found out that Castle would be taping the first show of the new season that day in downtown LA. I quickly grabbed my photo's that I had been lucky enough to have Nathan Fillion sign at the Spider-Man premiere and headed out the door. We left at about 5:30 am and arrived in LA about noon. We found where the base camp was for Castle and lucky for us, it was in a parking lot where their trailers where right next to the sidewalk. All we had between us and the cast was a 3' gate. Now I was getting excited!

The first person we saw was Jon Huertas, who plays Det. Esposito came out and as he was signing for us, Seamus Dever (Det. Ryan) came over to join the signing party. They were both very, very nice and chatted with us a bit about the dust storm that had just blown through AZ and how we must be HUGE fans to make the drive just for them. We both took a photo with (see mine below) and added them to my 3 cast 11x14's. Thanks so much guys!

Next to arrive on set was none other than Castle himself, Nathan Fillion. When we called for him, he said he would be a few minutes and stuck to his word. A few minutes later, he was nice enough to come sign a few index cards for us and take a picture with each of us. Since I already had him on my cast shot, I had him sign a couple index cards. Thanks so much Nathan! You were great!

It was a long wait for Stana Katic, who plays Det. Kate Beckett on the show; but well worth it. Since she was filming a scene when we arrived, we had to wait until she was done and the crew broke for lunch. When we called her, she came right over and started chatting with Jordon. She was very nice and signed our 4 cast shots...and even asked if it was okay for her to draw a mustache on her image for one of the pictures. I told her she could do whatever she wanted and she did :P

This one has both Nathan and Stana on it, as well as her personal touch.

Here are the 3 cast 11x14 photo's we got finished with Nathan, Stana, Jon and Seamus on them.

Now as Stana finished signing our pictures, a gentleman came up and went to give her a hug; which I think freaked her out a little bit so she said she had to go and we didn't get the photo with her. Of course, we can't go out like that. Who knows when I will get back down to LA and have this opportunity again, so we waited for her to come back out. Once she did, we quickly called for her and told her the guy had left; so she came over and took a picture with us and thanked us for being fans. What a classy lady. I think I'm in love! Thanks Stana!

I told Jordon that if we didn't get another autograph that day, I would be still be happy. He agreed but said he really wanted to get a picture with Aaron Paul, so off we went.

Once we arrived at the show, we had a couple hours to wait. About 6:30 pm or so, Aaron Paul arrived and came right over (of course, the crowd was screaming for him) and proceeded to sign autographs for about 10 minutes. We were lucky enough to get him on 3 photo's on the way in. While he was signing, Jeremy Renner arrived and the crowd started yelling for him. So what does Aaron do, stop signing and he started yelling "Jeremy" along with us. It was great!

Jeremy went in and didn't come over, but as soon as he was done taping...over to us he came. It was crazy! There were people pushing, yelling, trying to get as many as they could. Between Jordon and I, we were able to get 4 11x14's of Jeremy done. It took a lot of work, but well worth it. He was very nice at the Avengers premiere, and followed it up here. Thanks so much Jeremy!

Now, back to Aaron. Once he was done taping, he went into the concert performance by NAS and Rick Ross (who both ignored us by the way), but when he was finished he came over and signed a few. I was able to get 1 done during this time. I quickly ran around the parking area and waited for his car to pull out. I had heard he was super nice and would roll down and sign, and that's exactly what he did. Jordon asked him first to sign and then take a photo and was lucky enough to get both. We each got a photo with and with the help of a couple of friends (thanks Angel and Ryan), we got a few more pictures signed for a total of 9 Aaron Paul autographs.

He even put "Yo Bitch" on this one. Of course, I had to ask :p

Well, that puts an end to our night and it was a long trip home, but we LOVED this trip. With the exception of the $88 parking ticket I got :(

Catch you at the next one!
